I have Intelligolf Eagle edition with GPS. I have a Palm Zire 72s that came with TomTom Navigator. TTN works great; no problems. I can't seem to get Intelligolf to connect. It wants to use a 'serial port' instead of Bluetooth to connect.

Has anyone had any experience with this product? The Intelligolf support is pretty useless.

Thanks!

I have never tried anything but dedicated golf GPS units. How do these other models perform compared to say the skycaddie or igolf neo or any of the other popular brands

I use Intelligolf with a Treo 650 and a Bluetooth gps unit. Works great. Intelligolf seems to take at least a few days to respond.
I looked into the selfcontained units but having to continue to pay to download courses seemed like a rip, and the Intelligolf 'community' is a lot like an open source group - download to your hearts content. That being said, you do have to hope that the folks submitting course readings know what the hell they are doing. I have run into some funky data on some courses, but you can make your own adjustments. The software is awesome for dissecting your game and tracking trends.
The one I DO like is the uPro Golf. Granted courses are $10 a pop, BUT, you get photo quality flyover capability from any position - majorily sweet.......
