| I just downloaded the latest map update for my 1450LMT and it STILL does not have roads that google maps have had for at least 6 months! How long will my Nuvi think I'm driving through the middle of a field? Not to mention tell me to go where the old roads don't exist anymore.... Very frustrating, I really thought the latest update would actually be up to date finally. |

The best way to insure that a future update will include the missing, changed or additional items is to report them directly to Navteq, the company that supplies maps to Garmin. Go to Navteq.com and click on Map Reporter. In there you'll be able to report the changes you aren't seeing in the current Garmin maps.
Before you report something though, you may want to use the search function on the Navteq.com home page to see if some of the things you think need changing, adding, etc. are not already in the Navteq maps. Since it takes at least 3 months and up to 6 months for a Navteq change to appear in the Garmin map update, the things you want to see may already be there and just not in the Garmin maps yet. The Navteq maps on their website will always be more up to date than the Garmin maps but are a good indication of what will be seen in a future Garmin update. |

You can report the error at Navteq Map Reporter: http://mapreporter.navteq.com/
Hopefully it would be fixed in the next update.

| Thanks guys. I reported it, even the satellite photos still show just the beginning stages of the construction even though the road has been complete for months. And we're talking about a pretty major road here, 4 lanes divided, 100kph speed limit... |
