I just got a new desktop computer with Windows 7 and loaded all of my Street Pilot software onto it. I then connected the unit to the usb port to check for updates and i get this error message "There was an error communicating with the Garmin Update Server". does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it? I got to believe it has something to do with Windows 7. I had Windows XP Media Center on my old computer and everything worked just fine.

Thanks

Thanks, Kex. I forgot all about the web updater. I did down load it and used it to check for updates. Everything worked fine after I did that. Thanks for the information.
