The 1412 (Recon) for $80 at Tiger Direct qualifies for a "free" ($10 S&H) Spring 2009 map update SD (2GB) card from MagellanGps. Mine is good so far, with 4.3" screen, good speaker, TTS, all 50 states and Canada.

The "free" Spring 2009 Map Update (on a 2GB SD card) includes Mexico (at least many cities).
